The PLIDA certificate attests competence in Italian as a foreign language and is issued by the Dante Alighieri Society. PLIDA is officially recognized as the certification of competence in the Italian language by the Ministry of External Affairs and can be used for university enrollments or to obtain long-term residency permits.
